Ohmygoooodnesss.. She is sooo beautiful!
I'm glad you asked this question. I have extremely curly hair and my mum didn't know how to handle curly hair when I was a baby/ toddler/ preschooler/ child/ teen.. Pretty much ever. She never knew how to deal with curl. My mum's answer to extreme curl was the "pixie". I had waist-length spiral curls until about age 5 and she chopped it one day. Anyone who has ever attempted to cut naturally curly hair into a pixie knows that it will likely be uneven in spots.. Resulting in a very-very short pixie. Not a good look for me.
Luckily I had an aunt (and four older sisters) who set her straight. They started platting my hair whilst it was damp and allowing it to air-dry. Which resulted in smooth, pretty waves. As it grew, it looked better and better. My hair has been long ever since and when one has very curly hair.. Length is a necessity.
Learn from my mum's mistakes. DON'T cut her hair. Let it grow. Extremely curly hair is lightweight and as she ages, her hair will lose the baby-fine, soft textured curls and it will become frizzier. All the more reason why you have to let her hair grow.
Hair length = weight.
Weight = looser curl/ smoother texture/ easier to manage and tame.
She needs curly hair products that will moisturise, de-tangle and strengthen the hair. That means a good leave-in conditioner. Massage the scalp daily to stimulate hair growth. Good nutrition = healthy, long hair. Look for products that say "smoothing", "de-frizzing" (or anything that weighs the hair down). The opposite of what people with very thin, straight hair look for. Curly-haired people need the extra oil and thicker products to smooth the hair/ weigh the hair down. Use a clarifying shampoo once weekly to cleanse any build-up. Coconut milk is great to spritz-on in a pinch.
Very wide-tooth combs should be used on wet curly hair (or the fingers). Never, ever brush naturally curly hair once it's dry because it will expand. Allowing tendrils to air-dry with the leave-in conditioner will result in smooth, pretty curls and waves that are in larger chunks.
Once her hair is long-enough for you to start doing ponytails, ballerina buns, etc.. You're home-free. I know it's difficult right now because it's at an in-between length that requires work but I promise you that the longer it grows, the easier it will be to manage.

Mostly due to waxing. But there are few really old scars that still haven't gone. My legs look very ugly and I can't wear dresses at all. Also dark knees and elbows too? Any home remedy to cure?
Any type of scar, from wax burns, infections, flea bites, mosquito bites, acne . . . . Exposed to the sun, will become darker.
Any skin-lightening products containing hydroquinone would be considered new drugs, according to the proposed FDA regulations. The products would require FDA approval before being sold to the public and would only be available with a doctor's prescription. BB CREAMS included.
Doctors aren't sure why some birth-control pills cause these dark patches on the forehead, cheeks, or upper lip, but they do know UV exposure makes them worse.
For one thing: Oral contraceptives can upset your skin, since hormones in BCP make pigment cells more sensitive to the sun, resulting in brown blotches.
Doctor's advice: Talk to your doctor about switching to a low-dose estrogen formula, like Yaz or Ortho Tri-Cycles Lo, or the non-estrogen type of contraception known as the mini pill, says Sundaram. Wearing sunscreen will also help. "If you've had hyperpigmentation on the pill, you're likely to be sensitive during a pregnancy too." she says. In bulk cases, higher levels of hormones are to blame.

I've been protecting myself from the sun since age 9, by using umbrella or floppy hat. But no matter, I got Discoid Lupus, but it took 12 years for them to fade. Other than that, I've had flawless skin all my 60 years of my life. Use a floppy hat or umbrella.

I recently noticed two black spots in one of my cat's ears. I'm pretty sure they haven't always been there. He's 9 years old and the two spots are fairly large; they are both in the same ear and near each other. They are not raised, they lie flat on his skin. Here are two pictures:
Are they age spots? Maybe Lentigo? I know that Lentigo is common in orange tabbies – he is black/white but his father was an orange tabby cat, can it be hereditary? My worst fear is that it could be a skin cancer or melanoma but there's two of them, does it make sense for a skin cancer to be found in a pair like that?
If all you have to say is "take him to a vet", please don't bother replying. He has an appointment already.
Mmmmmm well by looks at those photos – I would be leaning towards a possible cancer. I don't want to put you in a panic, you obviously already have made the vet appointment, that is good. In a human, I would be concerned to see that as someone who works in healthcare and I have worked in dermatology, that does look to be consistent with a melanoma. You've done the right thing to get it looked it.
